About Double Glazing Quote

Double Glazing Quote is a free introduction service for UK homeowners and landlords who want quotes for new windows. This page says what it does, what it does not do and how it is paid.

1. Who we are

Double Glazing Quote is based in Edinburgh. You can reach us at hello@doubleglazingquote.uk.

2. What we do

We pass your enquiry to a company that matches it with local installers, so you can get written quotes and compare them.

  1. You tell us about your property and windows in the quote form.
  2. With your consent, we pass your enquiry to our lead partner, named in our Privacy Policy.
  3. Our lead partner contacts you and shares your enquiry with local installers who cover your postcode.
  4. Installers contact you to arrange a survey and a written quote.

We also publish guides on comparing quotes and dealing with installers.

3. What we are not

  • We are not an installer or a window manufacturer. We do not survey, quote, fit or guarantee any work.
  • We are not an independent price comparison service. Quotes come only from installers who work with our lead partner and cover your area.
  • We are not linked to GOV.UK, FENSA or CERTASS.

We are a free quote-matching service, not an installer. We may be paid when we pass on an enquiry.

5. How installers are chosen

Our lead partner chooses which installers receive your enquiry, from those who cover your postcode. We do not check installers ourselves.

Check any installer's registration and guarantee yourself before you sign. Our guide on how to compare double glazing quotes shows what to look for.

6. How we check our guides

Every guide and city page ends with a list of the sources behind it. If a figure does not trace to a named source, it should not be on the site, and you are welcome to challenge it on our contact page.
