1. Before you write: we are not an installer
We do not survey, quote, fit or take payment for any work. A problem with a quote, a contract or fitted windows goes to the installer you dealt with, and then to its registration scheme or guarantee provider. Our guide on the double glazing cooling-off period explains your right to cancel.
2. Stop calls or withdraw your details
Email hello@doubleglazingquote.uk with the subject "Withdraw" and the phone number or email you used on the form. That is all we need.
We stop our part immediately and tell our lead partner, named in our Privacy Policy, that you have withdrawn.
If an installer has already contacted you, ask it to stop as well. Each installer controls its own copy of your details.
For sales calls in general, register your number free with the Telephone Preference Service.
3. Your data: access, deletion and objection
Email hello@doubleglazingquote.uk to get a copy of the details we hold, correct them, delete them or object to how we use them. We reply within one month. Our Privacy Policy lists all your rights.
4. Data protection complaints
Send a complaint by email to hello@doubleglazingquote.uk or by post to Craigentinny Road, Edinburgh, EH7 6NB, United Kingdom.
We acknowledge every data protection complaint within 30 days and tell you the outcome. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
